In the world of retail, every little detail adds to the customer experience and how they perceive your business.  Signage plays such a huge role in Visual Merchandising. It communicates, educates and informs your customer. Unclear, dirty, ratty, unreadable signage can turn a customer away immediately. Clever signage on the other hand, SELLS!  So ask yourself the following questions:

Create clear, different sections within your shop.  This might be the way the walls or shelving are split up naturally. So on your wall, try to make different sections with some space between product.  Each section should tell a story/theme, a collection, a colour grouping or type of product (e.g. childrens vs homeware vs cards).
